my rap about math

we had to make a rap about math so that's what i did here (sorry its really bad)

(this part is the tune We Fly High) we know how to do the area of a triangle you just times it. times what? the base and the height then you divide the answer by 2!

that's all i have i know its really Sukey but that's OK :P

Ok so what you do is measure the width and that length then devide it by 2. when you measure the length you have to measure it in the middle. Then you times it and you get your answer but don’t forget to put the little 2 thing called square.

parallelogran

for one of the things we toke away the right side of a parallelogra(we copyed it) and moved it to the left then toke the hole object and move it behind a white thing so it looked like we erased it. we also musured the side by drawing a line on the right side so it will look like a rectangle and then you make a line on the left so it looks like a rectangel. i think this is a lot more funner and i get it a lot more better i hope that we will be able to do this again.

homework


the other one i wrong (i don't know if this is right) what i did for the cm was
but what i did for the cm was i put 10 in the missing spot because if i add 1+10+5 i get 16cm so thats what i put there.
for mm i put 100 mm because 10 mm is 10 cm so yea and i put 19mm because if i take off the 9 so i had a 10. it would me 1cm and if i added the 9 part to the 1 in 41 the i have another cm and 40 =4cm so if i added them all up 41+19+100 the i got 16cm so that how i did it and al so the reson why i put 100mm and all is because 10mm is 1cm.

rectangle-domenice

i got Domenice's better then the other people (Diana and Owen) because all she worte for her answer was P= length + width + length + width= 46=16 + width + 16 + width
and its easy for me to get it and all cause i found that if you add the width and the length. and something that i didn't get at first then i got it was that what 16 was i found that it was the length .

polygons

the stuff i learned about polygons and perimeters that polygons are lots of different shapes and all of the side don't have to be equal. perimeter is the out side of the shape like the outline and if u muser the perimeter in cm or m of the shape and then add it all up you get the answer for most of the questions right.

Patterning

for the few weeks we have been doing patterning. At first i didn't get it all that well. the most things that i was have problems with was with side is "X" and with side was "Y", how to get the rule and sometimes graphing. Latter on i started to get the hole thing and it was making more sense to me. What really helped me was some of the blogs it expanded all the things really well and it was really easy to understand. One of my favourite things to do was graphing and what goes were. i liked it because it was something i really got and it was easy to do. im getting pattering but something that i might need i little more help on the rule part.
